An LCD device and a method of driving the same are provided to suppress signal interference by controlling a data driver using signals of different phases. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a liquid crystal panel, first and second data drivers, and a timing controller(200). The first and second data drivers supply a data driving signal to the liquid crystal panel. The timing controller receives a control signal(MCLK), generates first and second horizontal starting signals(STH1,STH2), and first and second clock signals(CLK1,CLK2) of different phases, and supplies a driving control signal to the first and second data drivers. The timing controller includes a clock signal generator(250) and a horizontal starting signal generator(260). The clock signal generator includes a divider for generating the first clock signal based on the control signal and a shift register for generating the second clock signal based on the first clock signal. The horizontal starting signal generator generates the first and second horizontal starting signals, which are synchronized with the first and second clock signals.
