<p>The rotor and fixed blades for turbines have a profiled blade section. These blades are made from drawn blade material and they have a fastening root and a plate at tip. The blade tip plate on side is machined to have blade tip cross section profile. This plate is subsequently welded on the blade. The welded joint 6 is at right angles to the profile outside face even if the flow channel is inclined. The welded joint is finished machined. The drawn blade profiles 2 are upset at roof ends for holding between fasteners 4.</p> |
