PURPOSE:To obtain CMT (information exchange cassette magnetic tape) recording device which does not lose the writtern data even in case the failure or error may occur during writing by providing the reading control part, the writing information confirming part and the rewriting control part each to the CMT control unit. CONSTITUTION:In case the writing information of once is recorded on plural units of information exchange CMT devices, arithmetic process information 1 is stored in information register 9 via writing control part 2 and also 1at CMT device 4 via driver 3 in the form of the data. Finally, the reading command is given to reading control part 5 from part 2 where the file end label EOF mark of the CMT data is writtern. At part 5, the writtern data is read out once to be compared with the data which is writtern previously into register 9 at writtern information confirming part 6, and the rewriting command is given to rewriting control part 7 from part 6 when a coincidence is obtained through the comparison. Thus, the writing is carried out to 2nd CMT device 8. In case the read-out data of the control is different from the data writtern previously, the rewiting is given to device 8. Thus, the loss can be prevented for the data so far writtern. |
