The machine has a motor housing (4) that is held on a carrier part with a rotationally held circular blade (5). A carriage supports a material to be cut, and moves parallel to a cutting plane of the blade. A top surface and a rear receiving groove of the carrier part guides the carriage. A base plate (30) holds the housing, and a base part encompasses the plate and the carrier part in one piece with it.
