Self emptying skip lorry - is fitted with rear flap and servo driven bulkhead

The self emptying container or skip lorry has a rear flap and a front travelling bulkhead which pushes the load out of the rear flap. The load is accurately discharged without having to tip the skip, while the rear flap hinge is set above the level of the skip sides to allow the bulkhead to rear right over the end. The load is discharged without any instability due to tipping. The discharged load can be dropped well clear of the rear wheels so that the wheels do not collect dirt and debris to be thrown off on roads. The weight on the rear axle does not increase as it would in tipping.
