Loudspeaker housing with grille cover - has edges bent backwards at 90 degrees to grille with metal clips at corners

The edges of a rectangular grille (4) for loudspeaker housings are bent backwards at right angles to the grille. Metal clips (5) are pressed onto the grille at the corners and, if required, along its sides. These stiffen the cover but also have a fastening device (9) on one surface which mates iwth a similar device on the front of the loudspeaker housing. The fastening device may consist of "press-and-fasten" plastics strip, which is cheap readily available, and can be mounted by adhesives. The system is easily produced and the grille can be removed and replaced by unskilled persons.
