<p>A bolting unit on the wing of the sliding door, or similar, engages in a lock housing on the stock, when the wing is closed. It is movable for bolting with the aid of a drive rod in the wing rebate, to a position behind a stem piece on the housing. The bolting unit is in the form of a double-armed lever (6), rotating about an axis aligned parallel to the wing plane, set at right angles to the drive-rod (3). One arm (8) engaging in the housing (13) provides a closing hook. The interval of the hook face (9), working with the housing stem (14) from the lever (6) axis (7) decreases as the interval from the open hook end increases. The rod has a guiderod (11) hinged to it, to engage the other arm (10) of the lever.</p> |
