Telephone calls arriving at an exchange with automatic time division multiplex switching are routed to waiting lines or to a memory. Waiting calls are routed to operators in order of arrival. Calls arriving at an exchange are stored (ZS) and a memory is used to establish connections. This memory has addresses produced by an address generator (Z). An input counter (EZ) determines location in the memory. An output counter (AZ) ensures that the memory is read in sequence depending on call states. Addresses stored in the waiting memory are compared (VG1) for coincidence with address generator output in which case a call is routed to an operator position. |
