A hermetically sealed compressor (12) is driven by an electric motor with a rotor (18) mounted on a shaft (20) running in a bearing (24). The bearing is lubricated with oil pumped by a pump formed by the extension (30) of the shaft. This extension (30) is a tube with an openend section of reduced diameter and with internal longitudinal ribs. This end section is immersed in the oil (22) and as it rotates the oil inside is rotated by the longitudinal ribs and generates sufficient centrifugal force to pump the oil to the bearing oil supply hole (54). |
