CONSTITUTION:An inorg. substance such as silica or alumina is supported on bundles of twisted yarn of glass fiber with a diameter of several mu - several tens mu, and catalyst metal such as Pt or Pd is attached to the substance surface to produce catalyst 6. Catalyst 6 is fixed to catalyst plate 5 on glass tube 4 set on chimney 2, covered with catalyst cover 7, and fitted to ceiling 8 of a stove. Exhaust gas contg. an offensive odor and harmful components emitted at the time of igniting liquid fuel or putting out burning fuel is catalytically oxidized on the surface of catalyst 6 to effectively make the gas odorless and harmless. |
