PURPOSE:To efficiently regenerate a surfactant-contg., oil-bearing degreasing soln. by adding a nonionic surfactant to the soln.; separating the soln. into oil and water by heating; and removing the oil layer. CONSTITUTION:Above 0.05 wt% of a nonionic surfactant whose 1 wt% aq. soln. has a cloud point below 40 deg.C or a water insol. nonionic surfactant is added to a surfactant-contg., oil-bearing degreasing soln., in degreasing vessel 1, pref. contg. 1000-hundreds of thousands ppm of a surfactant and bearing 1000-hundreds of thousands ppm of oil, and they are heated to above 40 deg.C with heater 11 to be separated into oil and water. The oil-water mixt. is then fed to floating separation vessel 8 through overflow pipe 7 to remove the oil layer. The oil-free degreasing soln. is returned to vessel 1 with pump 9 or directly supplied to a degreasing soln. spray chamber through pipe 10b. Fresh water is supplied to washing vessel 3 and fed to vessel 1 in order by overflowing. |
