The outlet bend is for a container from which material is discharged under pressure generated inside. The bend inlet is funnel-shaped, merging into a round outlet. At the top, where the funnel portion (2) joins onto the tubular outlet (3) is a boss (4) protruding into the inside of the bend. This forms the top edge of an oval cross-section, merging into the circular outlet. The funnel wall joining onto the boss from the top can run at a flatter angle to the horizontal than the remaining funnel wall.
