The wood chip handling plant ensures drying and screening of the material. A preliminary drier (1) is connected by a deflecting hood (2) with the after drier (3). The deflecting hood (2) with the after drier (3). This deflecting hood (2) terminates between the outlet of the preliminary drier (1) and the supply end to the after drier (3) in the form of a raising tube blowing screen (4). The preliminary drier ensures drying by flow. The after drier (3) has drum shape. The raising tube screen (4) has return flow duct (5) and it is connected to a hot air duct (6).
