Lamimated conveyor belt comprises a load-bearing rubber-or plastics-textile ply with fluoroplastics top ply, the later being a welded (sic) fluoroplastics film web which is adhesively bonded onto the textile ply. The load-bearing ply is reinforced by plastics, or a textile or metal fabric. The adhesive used for bonding the 2 plies together is pref. a chlororubber glue. Mfr. comprises pre-heating the top ply and adhesively bonding both plies together, using pressure rollers. That roller facing the top ply is heated. The top ply is heated to near that temp. at which the resulting belt will be used in practice. Finally, the belt is tempered.
