Illuminated indicator for waiter service - has powered indicator which is used for table service using lamp under dome

A illuminated indicator containing a battery supply is intended for indicating the need for service e.g. waiter service in a restaurant. The indicator lamp (10) is located under a transparent dome (11) and is coupled to a battery (4) over a resistor (6). A latching relay (5) is used to connect the supply. The dome is spring supported (12) and is connected to the relay articulating mechanism (15). When the dome is pressed the lamp is actuated and remains so after release of the dome. Switch off is effected when the dome is pressed again.
