PURPOSE:To improve residual resistance ratio when manufacturing a magnet using a multi-core wire by a pipe method by coating a porous insulation material at the outside, forming a coil by performing winding on the winding frame, and performing heat treatment within vacuum or non-oxidation environment. CONSTITUTION:A Cu-clad Sn rod 2 is housed within the inside of an Nb pipe and a large number of compound wire 1 formed in generally hexagonal shape by executing sectional reduction machining to a compound body where Cu is placed at the outside of the Nb pipe are housed within the Cu pipe by placing the side surface being in contact mutually, and then sectional reduction machining is executed for producing wire material. A copper oxide film 13 is generated on the periphery of this wire a porous insulation material is coated on the outside, and winding is performed around the winding frame to form a coil. Furthermore, heat treatment is performed within vacuum or non-oxidation environment to generate Nb3Sn. Thus, oxygen within copper oxide film is diffused into a multi-core wire forming the coil on heat treatment for generating Nb3Sn. Combination with Sn allows residual resistance ratio of magnet to be improved. |
