In one embodiment a pipe 38 leads from the chamber 23 to a vapour recovery pipe 37. In a second, more practical, embodiment, Fig. 4, the tank pressure is ducted 24 to the chamber 22 and through a check valve 45 in the diaphragm to the chamber 23. The nozzle is sealed to the filling pipe 29 by a magnetic disc 34. The automatic nozzle thus operates with the petrol tank pressure as the reference pressure rather than atmospheric pressure as in known dispensing nozzles.</p> |
