Sheet combining device and a method for combining sheets

The stream mixing device (01) has at least one former (02,03), at least one slitter (07,08) and at least two guide paths upon each of which a part stream (27,28) of longitudinally slitted part sheets of the stream is guided and which then combines into a main stream (29) at the outlet of the stream mixing device. On one of the guide paths a stapler (17) is located for the stapling of the part stream guided on this guide path. The stream mixing machine has at least one second former and a guide path for the guiding of an additional stream or part stream from the second former to the outlet. An independent claim is included for a method of mixing of streams of sheet material.
