A broadcasting receiver and a mobile communication terminal for supporting a wireless headset function are provided to enable a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) chip to directly convert received broadcasting audio data into audio data supporting wireless headset transmission and output the converted audio data, thereby reducing power consumption by transmitting the broadcasting audio data to a wireless headset even when a DBB(Digital Baseband) module is inactivated. A broadcasting receiving device(305) receives mobile broadcasting data including audio and video data, converts the audio data into audio data supporting wireless headset transmission, outputs the converted audio data, buffers the video data for reproduction synchronization with the audio data, and outputs the buffered video data. A local area communication device forms an audio data channel with a wireless headset, receives the audio data supporting the wireless headset transmission from the broadcasting receiving device, and transmits the received audio data to the wireless headset. |
