PURPOSE:To let setting of zero reset operation state and resetting of auxiliary counter be simultaneously accomplished and always accurate zero resetting correction be accomplished by letting a zero resetting switch also serve as a resetting switch for the auxiliary counter synchronized to a hand operation display device. CONSTITUTION:When in an electronic watch having a reference oscillation circuit 1, frequency dividing circuit 2, electromagnetic converter 8, hand operation display device 9 the user operates a zero resetting switch 21 once when the position of the second hand 9c is in the position of zero second, the output signal from a waveform forming circuit 23 becomes reset signal by passing through an AND gate 32 and an auxiliary counter 11 and timer circuit 35 are reset by this signal and are changed over to zero reset operation state. When in this state the user operates the zero resetting switch 21 at the same time of time announcement, the frequency dividing circuit 2 and refrence counter 13 are reset and at the same time an RS.FF 16 is set, whereby zero resetting operation is accomplished. |
