<p>An under-mattress for a bed or similar article of furniture comprises a frame having two longitudinal limbs with elastic support elements attached to the inside thereof. The elastic support elements are located opposite each other in pairs for supporting spring bridges 3 disposed transversely of the mattress. Each spring bridge has formed therein at least one slot-like recess A extending longitudinally of the bridge and dividing it over a large portion of its length into parallel spring laths.</p> |
