The inputs of the amplifiers (1, 2) for the signal frequency to be amplified and for the pumping frequency are connected to couplers. The inputs apply to the parametric amplifiers a signal of the same signal frequency, but they are shifted in phase by Pi/2. A pumping signal is produced. It is of the same pumping frequency but it is also shifted in phase by Pi/2. The outputs of the two parametric amplifiers are so connected to a T-network that the connection length between amplifier outputs and the connection plane of the T-network is practically zero.
