<p>The reusable lighter for igniting domestic and similar fires has a cylindrical metal body (11) with perforations (12) around the sides and fitted with covers (13, 14) each end. A threaded rod passes longitudinally through this body, one end having a screw-on wire handle. The interior of the cylindrical body is filled with a refractory material, such as asbestos, and is immersed in a container of liquid fuel. The soaked material is ignited and the burning lighter pushes into the already-prepared fire where it provides a continuous flame.</p> |
