PURPOSE:To provide an electronic watch wherein at the time of reversely rotating a transmission mechanism, it is reversely rotated excessively by correction pulse components, the correction pulse (normal rotation) is automatically added, whereby the rotational angles of the pointer in the pointer display device due to the symmetric control of the contact are made the same. CONSTITUTION:A driving signal generating circuit 4 receives the output of a frequency divider 2, and connected to a contact 3 and a correction pulse generating circuit 7, a converter 5 being driven by said output and the output being displayed on a display device. The contact 3 is provided with two switches S1 and S2 for normal and reverse rotations, and the time correction of three shorts of normal rotation (corresponding to 30 seconds) at the initial input and that of total 360 shots ( corresponding to one hour) at the continuous input by the fall of switches of normal and reverse rotations. At the reverse rotation, correction of the back rush component (two shots an pulse, corresponding to 20 seconds) of the display device is carried out, and further prior to the correction, the reverse pulse output is increased, for example, 5 shots and 362 shots and produced as output, whereby the shifting parts of the pointer in normal and reverse rotation are made equal, and further disorder in time is prevented even after the correction by the effect of the correction pulse. |
