Used to secure a pipe (1) to a wall or a ceiling (2) the clip (4) is of e.g. sheet metal strip in one piece, having a rigid part circular body (4a) which extends in the form of a flexible strap (4b). The body is shaped to follow the cross sectional external profile of a pipe, subtends an angle (alpha) less than 180 deg. and locates a screw (3) by which it is fixed to the ceiling. The two opposite ends (4c, 4d) of the clip are also connected once it is mounted about a pipe. The body and the two ends may be stiffened by giving the strip a winged trapezoidal channel shape in cross-section. The end connection may use a screw (7) which can pass through a hole in one end (4d) to enter an internally threaded sleeve (6d) incorporate on the counter end (4c).
