The pneumatic time-lag relay comprises the actual time-lag unit, an actuator for it and a signal emitter, having a compressible bellows on a baseplate with a valve opened by axial pressure to connect the interior of the bellows with the ambient air. A drilling through the baseplate leads to a concentric channel in a rotary time selector plate, the channel being blind at one end and having a drilling to atmosphere at the other. The channel (12) in the selector plate (13) has a cross-section varying over its length. This variation can be such that the time lag is linearly proportional to the angular position of the plate.
