APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HYBRID TIME DIVISION DUPLEX FOR SUPPORTING TRAFFIC ASYMMETRY IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

<p>A hybrid time division duplex apparatus for supporting traffic asymmetry in a mobile communication system and a method for the same are provided to control efficiently terminal-terminal interference and station-station interference, to improve an SINR(Signal-to-Interference-and Noise Ratio) value, and to prevent deterioration of performance thereof. A first length decision process is performed to decide a length of a first section, a length of a second section, and a length of a third section of a frame through negotiation among multiple cells. A second length decision process is performed to divide the second section into a fourth section and a fifth section by considering traffic asymmetry and to decide a length of the fourth section and a length of the fifth section. A scheduling process is performed to schedule external cell users in the first section and the third section and to schedule internal cell users in the second section.</p>
