The equipment incorporates a connector joining a column to a horizontal member and allowing subsequent adjustment of the member up and down the support, being particularly for supporting long-stemmed flowers. The connector has bores at right angles to each other for column and member, the bores communicating with each other over at least part of their length. The bore for the member is so shaped that when the member is fitted it presses against the column so as to lock itself in position. It can be of tapered section, with serrations on the edge furthest from the column to lock the member in place.
