Caravan window frame section - has part clutching wall edges and opposite extension as abutment for leaf

The window which serves for closing an aperture provided in a wall has an external frame and a window leaf. The leaf is fitted for outward opening operating on a hinge. The external frame is formed by a U-shaped frame profile made of elastic material with a centre web and an inner web forming a groove in conjunction withthe external web. The groove envelopes the thickness of the wall and a permanently fitted with adhesive applied on the surfaces. On the frame profile an abutment flange is moulded on in direction of the extended web onto which the leaf is resting when the leaf is in closed position.
