The carrier-wave transmission system transmits between two or more protection lines in cables providing the power supply in which a protection line is insulated or the protection line divided into two mutually insulated wires. The protection line does not need to have its cross-sections varied. The transmission system is homogeneous: the electrical and geometric parameters of the lines are independent of the positions and lengths of the lines. The wave impedance remains constant and allows precision matching. Attenuation is comparable to that of a normal cable carrying carrier waves.
