The hydraulic accumulator has a cylindrical outer housing contg. a piston separating an oil and a gas chamber. The oil chamber is sealed off from the outside by a cover joined to a distributor head. The head (4) and the cover (3) are in one piece, the cover forming an oil tight joint inside the housing (1), to which it is secured by a union nut (13). The nut can be formed by an annular portion on the combined cover the distributor head, all three being in one piece. As a further alternative the cover and head can screw into an internal thread in the housing.
