PURPOSE:To enable the driver to drive his vehicle safely, by employing an arrangement capable of controlling the luminous intensity of head light electronically through detection of luminosity at the front of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Luminosity at the front of vehicle is detected by light-sensitive element 3, and current (i) corresponding to the luminosity thus detected is furnished to control circuit 4. In the control circuit 4, the level of lamp current I is controlled in response to the output current (i) of the light-sensitive element 3, thereby controlling the brightness of head light at a proper level. |
