<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct type fuel cell system in which hydrogen gas is not exhausted to the outside of the fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: The direct type fuel cell system includes: a direct type fuel cell 11 using a solid polymer electrolyte membrane as an electrolyte; a fuel supply means 52 supplying an organic matter or an organic matter solution to an anode of the direct type fuel cell 11; and an oxidant supply means 51 supplying an oxidant to a cathode of the direct type fuel cell 11. Gas exhausted from the anode is supplied to the cathode, hydrogen gas included in the gas is oxidized in the cathode and removed, and then the gas is exhausted from an exhaust port 65 to the outside of the direct type fuel cell system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
