Pallet designed for stacking only - has chambers in load-supporting portions at bottom edges allowing insertion of crowbar for manoeuvring by hand

The pallet can only be stacked on top of a similar one and not fit partly inside it. Its load-supporting deck is joined to the bottom surface by feet forming openings for lift truck forks to pass between them. To allow manoeuvring by hand when loaded and no truck is available, one or more points are provided at the edge of the bottom surface (20) for the insertion of a crowbar. These points are in the form of chamfers (30) in the side of a load-supporting portion (14, 16), typically at a foot.
