A name card file creating method using multimedia contents and a terminal using the method are provided to embed personal information in multimedia contents to generate a name card file such that people easily reminds a name card owner. A name card file creating method using multimedia contents includes a step(S21) of generating personal information and selecting multimedia contents, a step(S22) of generating a name card file composed of the personal information and the selected multimedia contents, and a step of simultaneously outputting the multimedia contents and the personal information.
