PURPOSE:To simplify the judgment processing in comparison with standard data and curtail the processing time by the CPU, by classifying and storing the reading data of banknotes into the memory. CONSTITUTION:When reading the patterns of banknotes by a plurality of detectors and storing in a memory, pulses from an oscillator are applied to a scale-of-4 counter 31 corresponding to the number of detectors, and the lower output thereof is applied to a gate circuit as A input of a decoder 32 and AD8 signal of an address signal 201 and the upper output thereof is similarly applied to the gate circuit as B input of the decoder 32 and AD9 signal of a hexadecimal address counter 33. The decoder 32, according to the input, supplies an output to a multiplexer 35, and the reading dara from each detector is outputted from the multiplexer 35 according to the decoder output to be A/D converted 36, and is then applied to the gate circuit after series-parallel conversion 37. As a result, the reading data of each detector is classified and stored in the memory. |
