Wave shed loom weft loading - has a rod to restrain weft against drawing=out forces

The charging unit for the weft insertion mechanism of a wave shed loom, where the weft has a continuous movement round a closed path, has a rod to pull the weft back against the drawing-out direction. This is fixed above a disc below a first weft yarn clamp, near the weft insertion unit and the winder. A rod has a movement path which cuts the axis of the winder at two points. One point lies in front of the junction of two paths while the other point is located above the junction of the two paths. The design gives a simple and trouble-free loading mechanism for the weft yarn, in a unit with low mfg. and running costs.
