FIELD: heating, drying. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to grain dryers on the whole and to a metering conveyor designed to be used together with grain dryers in particular. The grain dryer comprises inner and outer walls divided by gaps and fitted with a vertical element limiting a chamber for passing grain in the direction of an outlet opening, in general a horizontal shelf near the outlet opening, a chute under the shelf to receive the grain from the shelf and a conveyor designed to move along the constant path formed partially by the first direction and second direction; the conveyor comprises a carrying blade for pushing the grain along the chute in the second direction, a scooper unit including a scooper panel and meant for travelling at the shelf in the first direction and metering grain during its passing from the shelf to the chute and a blocking unit for preventing the grain to flow out of the outlet opening. In contrast to the first one the second version of the grain dryer involves a bearing element meant for fixing either to the scooper panel or to the blocking panel; the scooper panel is designed for metered supply of grain from the shelf to the chute and the blocking panel is designed for preventing the grain outflow of the outlet opening. There is one or more scooper panels and one or more blocking panels and the relation of scooper units and blocking units accounts for from about 1 to 0.5 to from about 1 to 2. The method of manufacturing a metering conveyor system for the grain dryers implies usage of a driving gear having many bearing elements connected to it and being essentially equally distanced from each other; each bearing element is meant for fixing either of the scooper panel or of the blocking panel; choice of the distance between the many scooper panels which is essentially multiple of the equal gaps, fixation of the many scooper panels to the bearing elements set with the intervals equal to the chosen distance and fixation of at least one blocking panel to the bearing element set on the driving gear among the many scooper panels. ^ EFFECT: ensuring uniformity of drying. ^ 22 cl, 6 dwg |
