The danger warning system is designed to trigger an alarm in a vehicle to warn the driver of a hazard ahead. The hazard is a vehicle stopped on the road ahead, this vehicle actuating the alarm. The warning signal can also be received by an automatic supervisory unit which may be portable or fixed. The system incorporates a long range alarm communication system whatever the configuration of the terrain. The alarm system is triggered when it receives a violent shock. Vehicles to be warned of the danger carry a receiver which is actuated by the vehicle in difficulty.
