PURPOSE:To improve tapering accuracy in wire-cutting process by varying wire electrode shifting speed between top and bottom of a work so that the electrode can be tilted in a tapering direction. CONSTITUTION:In the case of converting a straight-line processing from No. 1 processing line P'-S' at a curve-changing point S' to a taper-processing of No. 2 processing line S'-T', a processing distance of No. 1 processing line at bottom surface of a work is 1d between P' and S' and that at the top surface of the work is 1u between P and S. Now, a wire electrode 2 is tilted in clock-wise direction from a line P-P' to a line Q-Q' and then to a line S-S' during processing operation in such a manner and order that the wire electrode 2 becomes coincided with a tapering angle of No. 2 processing line by a line S-S', and then, processing of No. 2 processing line S'-T' and S-T is to be further conducted. |
