PURPOSE:To prevent an influence upon other devices whose power source is an inverter, by regulating the operation of a cooler which amounts to most of load of the inverter when an input voltage, such as the fluctuation in a stringing etc., lowers. CONSTITUTION:An electric power collected from a stringing through a pantograph is converted from d.c. to a.c. by means of an inverter 2, and the a.c. output is fed to a cooling device 3. Simultaneously an operation controller regulates starting and stopping of the inverter 2 by means of a starter 4 located between the pantograph 1 and the inverter 2. In the aforegoing operation controller, a No.2 low voltage relay 5R is connected in parallel with a low voltage relay 4R which is incorporated in the starter 4 and detects a starting voltage. A release voltage of the low voltage relay 4R is set lower than that of the low voltage relay 5R so that the relay 5R can first work when the stringing voltage decreases and the cooling device 3 can be released as a result of releasing a contact 5B. |
