PURPOSE:To obtain a charge voltage generator of fast phase retrieval speed and low cost by so constituting the same that the charge voltage at the printing and the opposite polarity voltage for phase retrieval are generated by one set of amplifier circuits without using any mechanical switch means. CONSTITUTION:When printing command signal z = 1, i.e., at the charge phase retrieval, a transistor Tr3 is ON, hence a diode D2 goes ON, resulting in that the output voltage pulse of an amplifier circuit is clamped at its bottom zero voltage level and the voltage pulse of positive polarity is applied to a charge electrode 3. When z = 0, i.e., at the print recording, Tr2 is ON and Tr3 is OFF and therefore the diode D2 goes ON, resulting in that the peak part of the output voltage pulse of the amplifier circuit is clamped at the zero voltage level, thus the negative polarity pulse is applied to the charge electrode 3. In this way, the charge voltage generator of fast phase retrieval speed and low cost may be obtained. |
