PURPOSE:To output abnormality detecting signal by inputting the output of a heat mass detector and discriminating its abnormality. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element driving circuit 5 is operated by the clock pulses transmitted by a clock pulse transmitting circuit 9 in the pulse period thereof, by which the light emitting element 4 mounted near the photo detector element 1 side is lighted and a detecting circuit is operated. At this time, the output detected with the photo detector 1 is inputted simultaneously so an AND logic circuit 12 and therefore a 6B gate closes and no outputting is done. If in this state the input entering an output discrimination logic circuit 8 is normal, the Schmitt side becomes 1 and the clock pulse side 1. If abnormal, the Schmitt side becomes 0 and the clock pulse side 1 and therefore abnormality may be detected. |
