PURPOSE:To prevent secular coloring and deterioration of activity of developer, by adding specific hydroxyalkylamine in lith type developer. CONSTITUTION:To a lith type developer containing developing agent of dihydroxy benzene base, additive of aldehyde alkali hydrogensulfite, and alkali hydrogensulfite of less than 5 g/l is added hydroxyalkylamine shown by general formula I (R1, R2 are hydroxyalkyl of C1to3, and alkyl of C1to3; R3 is hydroxyalkyl of C1to3) (preferably compounds shown in formulas II, III, IV, and V) by about 0.1 to 35 g (preferably 1 to 20 g) per 1 liter of developer. |
