Dashboard console switch layout for bus drivers - has command switches manually operated without release of steering wheel

The dashboard console for bus drivers 6ies behind the steering wheel and is concave in plan so that its outer edges are close enough to the steering wheel for the command switches to be operated by the fingertips of a bus driver without release of the steering wheel. The command switches are on the chamfered edges of the console and each can be independently mounted or withdrawn. Each comman switch has a separate illuminated indicator light on the front face of the console, the lights being viewed through the centre of the steering wheel.
