PURPOSE:To provide an electric wire cutting apparatus wherein the accuracy of a product is improved in the wire cutting of a work having processing sections in the circumferential section thereof such as gear cutting by relatively moving a wire electrode and the work. CONSTITUTION:A work 3 to be processed into which setting shafts 20A, 20B are inserted is supported by rotary shafts 21A, 21B, and being turned by means of a driving motor 26. A table 28 moves straight in the direction of arrows while placing the work 3 thereon by the said means. A wire 1 is stretched between 2A and 2B, and the said work 3 moves relatively against the wire 1 so as to process the gear teeth. The motion during processing is controlled by a computer program, etc. |
