<p>The wall-fixed gated hook-bracket is used to support the cantilever framing to an elevated working platform, locating a longitudinal rail to which transverse triangular cantilever frames are attached. The hook comprises an 'L' shaped member of rectangular hollow sections with an inclined angle iron welded to an intermediate point on the bar, the post being bolted through a concrete wall or similar and serving to set the rail away from the wall. An inverted 'L' section member pivots about the top of the angle iron to form the gate, automatically swinging down and open as the rail enters the hook, and automatically swinging back to closure once the rail is in place.</p> |
