<p>Arrangement for examining and measuring the effect of antibiotics, consisting of a transparent disc or plate and an impregnated support surface, in accordance with the parent patent, each surface having a radial scale to enable the zones of inhibition to be measured precisely. The results may be entered into a calculator to give, e.g., the min. inhibitory concn. The circular disc has a central area bearing a positioning mark. There is a similar mark on the absorbent support. Scales are marked in millimetres and commence at the external edge of the support surfaces.</p> |
