A trimming allowing to adapt closely a clothing element or accessory to a part of the human body. This trimming consists of a thermo-formable plastic material foam (2) placed into a non-stretchable envelope (1) and provided with an opening intended to receive the part of the body, but which dimensions are generally smaller than this part of the body. The housing is then formed by mutual compression of the foam and of the part of the body placed into the opening, while the temperature of the foam is raised up to he thermoforming temperature. This invention can be used to adapt shoes, helmets, gloves, swimming flippers, etc. |
