The present invention relates to a nitrogen and phosphorus removal apparatus for advanced treatment of wastewater, and more particularly to advanced treatment of nitrogen and phosphorus which are difficult to treat because they are dissolved in wastewater. The nitrogen and phosphorus removal apparatus for advanced treatment of wastewater is configured such that a space is filled with wastewater up to a part of a filling layer and an alkaline carrier is melted into an alkaline solution. Accordingly, ammonium ions can be reduced to ammonia gas, the ammonia gas can be removed along with sprayed air, and the alkaline carrier can absorb and efficiently remove phosphorus because the alkaline carrier is composed of porous powder.
